The Pepper Chair

Twenty years ago, Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” topped the charts and Sleepless in Seattle premiered in theaters. Gas was an average of $1.07 per gallon and Martin Luther King Jr. day was finally recognized as a National Holiday. That year was 1993. It was also the year BrandQuery opened its doors.

Yep, this year we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary!

We think that’s pretty grand, so we’re planning to celebrate throughout the year.

The Pepper Chair At BrandQueryTo begin, we thought we’d share something that’s been with BrandQuery since its opening. No, it’s not President & Brand Strategist Jacque Beamer (though she’s been here the whole time too) – it’s “the pepper chair.”

This chair has followed us from office to office and we can’t seem to get rid of it. It may be because, deep inside, everyone at BrandQuery is a foodie (it’s true!) or because we think peppers are just great. It might also be because we really do love this chair (after all, we do keep it quite clean). The chair also has an old spring that gives it a joyful bounce.

Whatever the reason, if you visit our office in the near future and are directed to our central waiting area, sit in the pepper chair. You’ll be sitting on 20-year-old, genuine BrandQuery history.
