Bellingham Technical College unveiled their new Campus Center Friday, October 26th. BrandQuery was subcontracted by HKP architects to design signage and wayfinding for the building. The intent was to create signage that was both unique yet could work within the BTC brand and existing campus signage.
These kinds of projects are years in the making. In fact this one dates back to 2008 when design began, moving into construction two years later and finally completion this fall. In fact, the building opened to students preceding the Grand Opening.
About a year ago, the BTC Foundation office asked us to design their Donor Recognition Wall that would be housed within the Campus Center. The timing of this project was (and did) to coincide with the Grand Opening.
